Sheetrock Update

It's been awhile, with numerous reasons for delays, but I'm finally back to post sheetrock pics and updates on the house progress.
the sheetrock truck arrives at the same time as the ditch digging is going on which creates a bit of a problem getting it unloaded in the house

Once again we have hit rock that the backhoe can't break through. Aaron rented a jackhammer but they still couldn't get through the rock. We've called a guy with a bigger backhoe but he hasn't made it out yet.

and in the garage
at the end of the day, the ceilings and 4' down are covered

 checking out the completed work

the trim guy was supposed to come out last week but didn't make it - hopefully this week???

Aaron gears up for priming the garage
have gone through 20 gallons of primer and just bought 30 gallons more

One of the delays in posting has been keeping four of the grandkids for a week. For some reason I keep getting distracted.
 early morning tickles
 afternoon naps
they really don't sleep all the time but you would think they do from these pics

We're roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for s'mores tonight.
Happy 4th of July!!! and many thanks to all who have served to keep our nation free!
