I was so worried about the stain and paint colors, especially the stain because once it is on, there's not much you can do about it. I love, love, love it all! Yea!!!!
They are spraying the last of the cabinets now and prepping for wall paint. I just ran back over to confirm the colors for some of the walls and they have painted the ceilings and started on the exterior doors.
I was going to show you the color of my sewing room cabinets but they are all covered up. They just look white anyway. It's called Snowfall and has a tinge of gray but you would never know it.
The upper cabinets are very light gray (called On The Rocks). The picture doesn't really show the color very well.
The first coat of paint on the door (called Shade-Grown). It's a dark gray green and will show up better with the second coat.
Unfortunately, they are not going to be finished this week as they said. Surprise! Surprise! The plan was to set up tables in the house for our big family Christmas on Saturday the 3rd, but that isn't going to happen. Oh well, the place doesn't matter, just being together with all the family is all that's important! Too bad they are forecasting highs in the 40's and rain. Brrrrr!
