Aaron called last night and said he had two guys coming this morning about 9 to help move. Another one was able to come about 11. It was amazing how quickly they got things done. I told them they shouldn't ever charge by the hour because they were so speedy, even carrying my EXTREMELY heavy desk upstairs. Aaron said this was the last time he was moving it so it stays with the house.

The guys started at 9 and were finished by noon. We cooked some hamburgers for them and by 1:00 they were gone and Kim and I were standing there looking at all the boxes. He helped me cut shelf and drawer liner and the unpacking started.
one of the first things I unpacked is my favorite painting by Mother

our bedroom in the little house is now empty
not much left in the dining room either
I mentioned yesterday that we didn't get the storm but Juniper wasn't so lucky. They had tornado warnings and large hail. I just saw on the news that Denton had the largest hail in the Metroplex - as large as 4 1/4". She had a couple of broken windows.
hail stones from her house
Aaron almost drove right into it but called us to check on the path and was able to turn around and wait it out.
I walked over 6.5 miles and more than 16,000 steps today. I will be doing nothing but unpacking for the next many days! Remember that picture of the office further up? Well it has to be completely unpacked for Penelope and Gene to stay this weekend. Busy, busy, busy.

OH MY!!! The move in day arrived!!! I am so excited for you guys, what a momentous day. Everything looks so good, the stenciling is beautiful and perfect for that room. Carol the stained glass is so well done, Wow! Looks like your car fit perfectly in the garage, home sweet home for sure. So thankful Aaron could help and bring 3 strong men to help you out Cowboy. All those boxes will take time but that is okay, you will probably be surprised by what you find :) Sure wish I could come help unpack. You will have a home for everything soon and Cowboy will be able to get his workshop all in order. THEN WHAT???
