Dirt work begins...

The lot is cleared and the dirt work begins

dumping the first of 56 loads 

it took 1 1/2 to 2 hours between deliveries

...and several days later

finally enough to start...

spreading and compacting

and more spreading

and compacting

and spreading

and building it up to level

it's getting there

the lot drops off about 3' from the front

...and finally the back is level with the front.
